Q: Why is this study being conducted?
A: The Clinton County Board of Supervisors are concerned that some homes and businesses in the county do not have adequate broadband service. This became very clear during the COVID-19 pandemic when citizens were forced to learn and work from home. The County wants to identify where gaps in coverage, speed, and quality exist so they can possibly partner with local providers to improve services in those areas.
Q:What do you hope to learn from the survey?
A: The survey is designed to help county leaders (working with local providers) identify areas where internet service is not available or not adequate. Your feedback from the survey, as well as the speed test data, will help bring our county's internet service into sharp focus.
