Background

In March 2017, Adair citizens unanimously voted YES to the formation of a municipal telecommunications utility. The measure was supported by the community so strongly because of dissatisfaction with current providers and the strong belief that bringing 21st century broadband infrastructure to Adair is vital to the community's future growth and success.

Since the vote, Adair has been working with consultants and Casey Mutual Telephone on a business plan for the construction of the network and the partnership arrangement between the City and Casey Mutual. As part of this business plan, we need to develop an accurate assessment of how many customers the new network will have. We are conducting this assessment through a fiber pledge form campaign.
